Hi everyone, this is my first blog post, and I wanted to introduce the pride and joy of my life - my dog, Brindle, and my cat, Blondie.

Brindle is a sweet 3-year old pit/lab mix. We rescued him from the ASPCA when he was six months old, and he is one happy dog. Right now, Brindle is enjoying lots of long walks in the fall leaves. He loves to chase squirrels (but he's not allowed to catch them.)

Blondie is a 7-year old calico. We rescued her from a shelter at 18 months. Blondie is an apartment cat, but likes watching the birds and squirrels out the window. She also enjoys chasing the cat dancer, and finding places to hide!

Well, more about the cat and dog another day (or as I like to call them, the "kids".)
